Two people have died after eating mango seed porridge in the Kandhamal district of Odisha. According to the information received so far, the condition of 6 people is critical. It is said that all these people had eaten porridge made from mango seeds, after which their health deteriorated. One of these women died on Thursday while another woman died on Friday. The other 6 people have been admitted to the hospital for treatment, where their condition remains critical. At present, everyone is being treated.

Giving information about the incident, the police said that the whole matter is of Mandipanka village of Daringbadi block. Information has been received about eating porridge made of mango seeds in the village. This porridge is made by boiling it in milk or water. Meanwhile, Gadapur's Sarpanch Kumari Malik said that one of the two women died on Thursday night during treatment at Mohana Community Health Center in Gajapati district. Meanwhile, a panchayat member said that another woman was also taken to MKCG Medical College and Hospital on Friday morning after falling ill, where she died.

Meanwhile, the medical officer of the health center, Dr. Subrata Das, has also given information about this matter. Dr. Subrata Das said that 6 other people who fell ill after allegedly eating porridge have been admitted to the hospital for treatment. He said that the condition of all the 6 people admitted to the hospital is critical. Dr. Subrata Das said, “All the six people have been admitted to the hospital in critical condition. We suspect that they have fallen ill due to food poisoning. The exact cause of the disease will be known after the investigation is completed. ”
