Mumbai: Mahayuti has won a landslide victory in the Maharashtra Assembly elections. Looking at the election results of Maharashtra, it seems as if a tsunami of Mahayuti has arrived. Mahavikas Aghadi was completely defeated in front of Mahayuti. MVA led by Sharad Pawar, Uddhav Thackeray, and Rahul Gandhi was reduced to only 50 seats. Now that the election results are clear, the biggest question is who will be the Chief Minister of Maharashtra?

This question is also important because there is a tussle going on between the BJP and Shiv Sena regarding the CM post. Who will be the next CM from the Mahayuti alliance of BJP, Shiv Sena, and NCP in Maharashtra? In fact, looking at the seats won by the BJP in the Maharashtra elections, the name of Devendra Fadnavis is being put forward by the BJP for the CM post. On the other hand, Eknath Shinde is also not ready to agree easily.

We will decide together

However, the signals received before and after the election results clearly show that Devendra Fadnavis is the strongest contender for the CM post. Mahayuti has got 236 seats. BJP alone has won 132 seats. Ajit Pawar's NCP has won 41 seats. In such a situation, it is considered certain that this time Devendra Fadnavis will sit on the CM's chair. But the question is whether Eknath Shinde will agree easily.

On the question of CM in Maharashtra, Eknath Shinde said that it has not been decided yet that the one who has more seats will become the CM. He said that the leaders of the three constituent parties of the Mahayuti will sit together and decide on this. Devendra Fadnavis is also saying something similar. He also says that the decision on the CM post will be taken by sitting together. Eknath Shinde, Devendra Fadnavis, and Ajit Pawar denied any tussle for the CM post.

Devendra's mother gave hints.

Although the Mahayuti is not revealing its cards on the CM post yet, it is clear that either Devendra Fadnavis or Eknath Shinde will have to book a ticket to Delhi. The possibility of Devendra Fadnavis coming to Delhi is very less or almost negligible. His mother has given clear indications of this. Devendra Fadnavis' mother Sarita said that her son does not want to go to Delhi.
