Taiwan-based Foxconn Chairman Young Liu on Thursday received the Padma Bhushan award from India Taipei Association Director General Manharsinh Yadav in Taipei. The award was conferred to Liu on the eve of the Republic Day this year.

"Your Excellency, I am humbled to receive this award. I also want to say I am privileged to accept this award on behalf of all the fine women and men who work diligently in Foxconn's India operators to do our part in growing local economies in India. Please convey my best wishes to President Murmu, and I look forward to Madam President in India this year,' said Liu.
