New Delhi. After the Lok Sabha elections, the results of the Haryana and Jammu Kashmir elections shocked the entire country. Kashmir has a different temperament but nobody understood the Haryana results. There was a lot of hue and cry, and the matter went to the Election Commission but after the results were out, nothing happened unless there was some fact and basis.
If we divide we will be cut, it worked.
Election pundits blamed CM Yogi's slogan 'If we divide, we will be cut' and the Jat vs non-Jat fight. Now that the results of Maharashtra and Jharkhand are coming, once again the BJP-led NDA seems to be ahead. In such a situation, questions are being raised as to what will happen to Rahul Baba now. In the Lok Sabha elections, he had loudly raised the issue of caste census, and protection of the Constitution and it was successful too, but in these elections, these issues seem to be fizzling out.
Caste Census-Constitution is in danger.
In his election rally, Rahul Gandhi had talked about equality, one person one vote, and respect for every religion, every caste, state, and language. He had said that the constitution has the voice of Savitribai Phule and Mahatma Gandhi. He has been raising this point loudly that BJP and RSS are attacking the constitution, this is an attack on the voice of the country. He also raised the issue of caste census with great force and said that he would get it done. He will not rest until Dalits, OBCs, and tribals get their rights. In the same sequence, he also said that he would break the cap of 50 percent reservation. He did not forget to link Adani and PM Modi in the last phase of the election.
Let us tell you that in Maharashtra, Dalits are 12 percent, OBCs are 38 percent, Adivasis are 9 percent and Marathas are about 28 percent. In Nagpur, where the RSS headquarters is located, it was said that the Sangh was attacking the Constitution secretly. They do not dare to attack directly. They know that if they attack from the front, they will lose. Rahul Gandhi played the same trick in the Lok Sabha as well, when Congress got 100 seats in the country, the alliance got 30 in Maharashtra, Congress got 13 and BJP got only 8 seats.
BJP got the votes polarized
BJP had learned a lot from the defeat in the Lok Sabha elections. It was understood that the only answer to the caste census campaign launched by the opposition, especially the Congress and Rahul Gandhi, could be the unity of Hindus. Hence, UP CM Yogi had given the slogan 'If we divide, we will be cut off' in the Haryana elections. PM Modi modified it a little and made it 'If we live together, we will be safe'. He also added that Congress wants to divide the society. During this time, Hindu-Muslim issues were heated up. NCP leader Ajit Pawar opposed these slogans but the Sangh and BJP had information that this issue was working, hence it was intensified and now its results are coming to the fore.
Naturally, the opposition, especially Rahul Gandhi, will be shocked by these results and will have to think about which move should be made in the elections of Delhi and Bihar to be held next year so that the tables turn.
