New Delhi: Indian Railways is continuously launching new Vande Bharat trains and now on September 15, 10 Vande Bharat trains are going to be launched simultaneously for different states of the country. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will flag off these trains from Jamshedpur, Jharkhand. This will be the first time that 10 Vande Bharat trains will be inaugurated simultaneously. Earlier, the Prime Minister had flagged off the Mumbai-Goa Vande Bharat Express.

Most trains will pass through Bihar.

Let us tell you, that these 10 Vande Bharat trains will be operated from various railway stations. The states that will benefit from these trains include Jharkhand, Bihar, West Bengal, Odisha, Andhra Pradesh, Maharashtra, Telangana, Karnataka, Chhattisgarh, and Uttar Pradesh. At the same time, most of the trains will pass through Bihar. Assembly elections are also near in Jharkhand and under this, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be present in Jamshedpur on September 15. According to East Coast Railway, three new Vande Bharat trains will also start operating through Odisha from September 15.

Budget of Rs 10,586 crore

These trains include Tata-Berhampur, Rourkela-Howrah, and Durg-Visakhapatnam Vande Bharat Express. These three trains are part of the 10 trains that the Prime Minister will flag off. The central government has made a budgetary provision of Rs 10,586 crore in 2024-25 to strengthen the railway infrastructure in Odisha. Vande Bharat trains are semi-high-speed trains, capable of running at a maximum speed of 160 km/h. At present, a total of 54 pairs of Vande Bharat trains are running on various rail routes across the country, covering more than 280 districts in 24 states and union territories.
