Manipur violence update: Curfew has been imposed in Imphal West and East after the bodies of six people of the Meitei group, who were allegedly abducted by militants, were found. According to reports, Union Home Minister Amit Shah reviewed the security situation amid fresh incidents of violence in Manipur during a meeting with senior officials in Delhi on Sunday.

The development comes after a curfew was imposed in Imphal West and East and internet services were suspended in the districts as fresh protests erupted in the Valley districts against the killing of six persons whose bodies were found in Jiribam after they were allegedly abducted by Kuki militants.
Three women and three children staying at a relief camp went missing following an exchange of fire between security forces and militants in the Jiribam district on Monday, with Meitei organizations alleging that the militants had abducted them.
