Jharkhand horror: A shocking incident has come to light in Khunti, Jharkhand where a man killed his live-in partner and cut her body into 40-50 pieces. A 25-year-old man working as a butcher strangled his live-in partner to death in a forest area of Khunti district of Jharkhand and cut her body into several pieces. The accused named Naresh Bhengra has been arrested.
The case was opened because of the dogs.
The case came to light nearly two weeks after the murder when a stray dog found the body parts near Joradag village in the Jariagarh police station area on November 24. Bhengara was in a live-in relationship with a 24-year-old woman from the same district in Tamil Nadu for the past few years. Some time ago, he returned to Jharkhand and married another woman without informing his partner. He then left his wife at home and went back to Tamil Nadu.

Khunti SP Aman Kumar said the brutal incident took place on November 8. The accused had married another woman and did not want to take his live-in partner to his house. Instead, he took her to a forest near his house in Joradag village under Jariagarh police station and killed her, and cut the body into several pieces. The accused has been arrested.
Inspector Ashok Singh, who is investigating the case, said the accused worked at a butcher shop in Tamil Nadu and was an expert in cutting chicken. He admitted to cutting the woman's body parts into 40 to 50 pieces and then leaving them in the forest for wild animals to eat. On November 24, a severed hand was found in the mouth of a dog in the area, after which the police recovered several body parts.
Ashok Singh said the victim was unaware of Naresh's marriage and he pressured her to return to Khunti. After reaching Ranchi, they boarded a train on November 24 and went to Naresh's village. As per the plan, Naresh took her to Khunti in an autorickshaw near her house and asked her to wait. He then returned with a sharp weapon and strangled her with a dupatta after raping her.
