New Delhi: After the name of gangster Lawrence Bishnoi came up in the murder case of Baba Siddiqui, many film stars have become afraid. The case of Baba Siddiqui's death had not even cooled down yet that talk of targeting politicians and industrialists was coming to the fore. The National Student Union of India (NSUI) has filed a complaint against an Odia actor Buddhaditya Mohanty for posting a controversial post on social media about Congress leader Rahul Gandhi.
NSUI state unit president Udit Pradhan filed a complaint at the 'Capital' police station, demanding action against actor Buddhaditya Mohanty for sharing the controversial post. However, the post has now been removed.
Said this on social media
Buddhaditya Mohanty had shared a post on his ex account. In this post, Mohanty wrote, "After the murder of former Maharashtra MLA Baba Siddiqui, gangster Lawrence Bishnoi's next target should be Rahul Gandhi." After the uproar, he deleted this post. The National Student Union of India (NSUI) had strongly opposed his post. NSUI had said that they would not tolerate such statements against their leader.
The actor apologized
After the controversy escalated, Mohanty has apologized on social media. He wrote, "My previous post about Rahul Gandhi was not intended to target him or harm him or insult him in any way. My purpose was not to write against him. If I have inadvertently hurt anyone's feelings, I apologize from the bottom of my heart."
