New Delhi. Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal has finally been granted bail by the Supreme Court. Kejriwal was arrested on March 21 in the alleged liquor scam case. He has already got bail in the ED case. The court said that if Kejriwal is kept in jail even after getting bail in the ED case, then it would be a mockery of justice. The power of arrest should be used thoughtfully.

Let us tell you that Arvind Kejriwal will come out of jail after 177 days. He was arrested in the liquor scam case on 21 March. After this, on 26 June, CBI took him into custody from the jail itself. A bail plea was filed by the Delhi CM calling the arrest illegal. The last hearing was held on 5 September, when the court had reserved its decision.
