An official of the Mumbai Crime Branch said that the accused arrested in the murder case of Ajit Pawar faction's NCP leader Baba Siddiqui told during interrogation that a few days before the murder, the shooters had gathered information about him on social media, by roaming around and by seeing banners.
One more thing has been revealed in the Baba Siddiqui murder case. The Mumbai Crime Branch investigation has revealed that the weapons used to kill Baba Siddiqui were brought to Mumbai from Udaipur in Rajasthan. Police said that both the person who took the weapon and the person who gave it were unaware of each other. According to the Crime Branch, the accused Ram Kannaujiya and Bhagwant Singh, who went to Udaipur to get the weapons in the Baba Siddiqui murder case, were not given any information about the person from whom they had to get the weapons.
A photo of the shirt of the person who handed over the weapon was sent
After reaching Udaipur, only the description of the person who gave them the weapons was sent to them. As a description, only the photo of the shirt of the person who gave them the weapons was sent to both the accused by the gang and then they were asked to go to a secret place and collect all the three pistols from the person wearing the shirt.
The two men who took the weapons stayed in Udaipur for a day.
This module was also used during the firing at Salman Khan's house. Due to these modules, the Crime Branch investigating the Baba Siddiqui murder case is finding it very difficult to find out who gave weapons to Ram Kannaujia and Bhagwant in Udaipur. However, efforts are being made to find out. The investigation by the Mumbai Crime Branch has also revealed that the accused Ram Kannaujia and Bhagwant stayed in Udaipur for a day and on the second day, all three came to Mumbai by road from Rajasthan after taking over the pistol from an unknown person.
Both of them were in Mumbai on the day of Baba Siddiqui's murder.
While coming from Rajasthan to Mumbai, they changed their mode of transport many times. During the entire journey, they used government buses and many private vehicles. After bringing the weapons to Mumbai, Bhagwant Singh and Ram Kannaujia stayed in Mumbai and after further orders, handed over the three weapons to shooter Shiv Kumar Gautam in the Ghatkopar area through a courier. According to the Crime Branch, Ram Kannaujia and Bhagwant Singh were present in Mumbai when Baba Siddiqui was murdered on October 12 and fled after the murder.
