New Delhi: Union Minister Nitin Gadkari made a big revelation in a program on Saturday. He said that during the Lok Sabha elections, a senior leader of the opposition parties had offered him the post of Prime Minister. But Gadkari flatly refused him.

The offer doesn't tempt me

Addressing the media during the journalism award ceremony in Nagpur, Nitin Gadkari said, "I told the leader that I am a person who follows ideology and commitment. I am in the party which has given me everything in life that I could not even dream of, no offer can tempt me".

Gadkari said-

The BJP leader further said that "I do not want to take anyone's name here, but there is a person who told me that if you want to become PM, we will support you. I said, why will you support us and why should I support you? The goal of my life is not to become the Prime Minister. I am true to my ideology and organization and will not compromise it for any post, because my commitment is very important to me. Gadkari said that this commitment is the biggest strength of Indian democracy.
