Mumbai: 'Devendra Raj' has started in Maharashtra from today. BJP leader Devendra Fadnavis took oath as Chief Minister for the third time on Thursday, 5 December at Azad Maidan in Mumbai. During this, Eknath Shinde from Shiv Sena and Ajit Pawar from NCP took oath as Deputy Chief Minister along with him. Governor CP Radhakrishnan administered the oath of office and secrecy to all three leaders.
These people arrived
Those who attended the swearing-in ceremony included CMs of all BJP-ruled states, NDA leaders like Nitish Kumar and Chandrababu Naidu, and several Union ministers. Along with them, industrialists Mukesh Ambani, Kumar Mangalam Birla, actors Shahrukh Khan, Salman Khan, Ranbir Singh, Ranbir Kapoor, r and former cricketer Sachin Tendulkar also attended the swearing-in ceremony of the Fadnavis government.
The opposition is missing!
It has been a tradition in Maharashtra for many decades that the leader of the opposition also attends the swearing-in ceremony of the new government. In 2019, when the Uddhav Thackeray government was sworn in, Devendra Fadnavis attended the program despite being in the opposition. But this time this tradition was broken. From the opposition side, neither any leader of Shiv Sena (UBT) nor any leader of NCP (Sharad faction) and Congress attended.
