New Delhi: In the battle of mosque vs temple, now the turn of Badaun mosque has come. After Ajmer Dargah of Rajasthan and Jama Masjid of Sambhal, now this historic mosque of Badaun is being called Mahadev temple. A hearing was held in this case in a special fast-track court on Saturday (30 November 2024), in which the court has fixed the date of the next hearing as December 3. Owaisi got angry in this matter and reacted sharply.

Future generations will do ASI excavations…

Regarding Badaun's Jama Masjid, AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi said, "Jama Masjid of Badaun, Uttar Pradesh has also been targeted. A case was filed in the court in 2022 and its next hearing will be on December 3. ASI and the Uttar Pradesh government are also parties in this case. Both the governments will have to present their views according to the 1991 Act." He said, "Sharah-loving Hindutva organizations can go to any extent, banning them is very important for the peace and unity of India. The country should maintain communal harmony, otherwise, the coming generations will be busy digging ASI instead of studying AI."

Arguments from both sides

According to media reports, on Saturday the Muslim side was called to present its arguments in the special court. Earlier, the court had heard the arguments of the Hindu side. After hearing the arguments of both the sides, the court has adjourned the case till the next hearing. The court has clarified that now the next hearing of this case will be on December 3.
