TMC supremo and West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee addressed the West Bengal Assembly on Monday. During this, she appealed to the people of the state and said that they should not be worried at all by the statements being made in Bangladesh. Mamata said that West Bengal will always support the decision of the central government. Along with this, she said that the people of West Bengal should maintain their peace of mind and stay healthy.

Earlier on Sunday, Ruhul Kabir Rizvi, leader of Khaleda Zia's party BNP in Bangladesh, had given a controversial statement. Addressing a program, he said that India harms Bangladesh with every step it takes. India has kept Sheikh Hasina here only because the Bangladeshi people do not like her. Along with this, the BNP leader said that India can never be anyone's friend.

Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) leader Ruhul Kabir Rizvi further said that if India claims our Chittagong, then we will capture West Bengal, Bi, ha,r and Odisha. Rizvi said that communalism has increased a lot in India. Sheikh Hasina always had the blessings of Delhi. Hasina has ruled Bangladesh for 16 years only with the blessings of Delhi. Along with this, the BNP leader made many more sensational allegations against India and the Indian government.
