The Congress on Monday expressed concern over the attack on devotees at a Hindu temple in Canada. The Congress urged the government to strongly raise this issue with the Canadian government so that such incidents are not repeated in the future. 

Indian High Commission also issued a statement.

Protesters carrying Khalistani flags clashed with people at the Hindu Sabha Mandir in Brampton, Canada on Sunday. After this, the Indian High Commission in Ottawa issued a strong statement condemning the attack carried out by 'anti-India' elements.

Congress said that the whole country is watching the video from Canada. People here are worried about how devotees are being stopped from going to the temple in Canada. Outside, pro-Khalistan people are raising slogans. They are protesting violently. On the contrary, the Canadian police are taking action against the devotees.

The government should take a strong stand.

Along with this, Congress said that we demand from the Indian government that it should strongly raise this issue before the Canadian government. The government should ensure that such incidents do not happen in the future.
