Seoul: Amidst the fear of a fierce war between Israel and Iran, North Korean leader Kim Jong Un has raised the temperature of the world by threatening a nuclear attack on South Korea. Kim Jong has given this threat to South Korea at a time when the world is facing the threat of a third world war. From Russia-Ukraine to Israel-Hamas, Israel Hezbollah, Israel-Houthi, and Israel-Iran, almost the entire Central Asia is in the grip of a fierce war. After Iran attacked Israel, America is openly supporting Netanyahu, while Russia came out in support of Iran. China is also in favor of Iran. These circumstances have increased the threat of a third world war manifold.
Kim Jong has said that if North Korea is provoked, it will completely destroy South Korea using nuclear weapons. State media gave this information on Friday. The South Korean leader had warned that if Kim tried to use nuclear weapons, his regime would be destroyed and in response to this Kim has given this warning to South Korea. Such rhetoric between the leaders of the two countries is not new, but his recent comment has come amid increased tension due to North Korea's recent disclosure of a nuclear center and continued missile tests.
Kim said- South Korea will cease to exist.
According to North Korea's state news agency Korean Central News Agency (KCNA), while visiting a special operations force unit on Wednesday, Kim said that if South Korea tries to use armed forces to encroach upon its sovereignty, then his army will "without hesitation use all offensive weapons it has, including nuclear weapons." Kim said, "If such a situation arises, South Korea will cease to exist." Kim's statement was a response to South Korean President Yun Suk Yol's speech on his country's Armed Forces Day on Tuesday.
Unveiling South Korea's most powerful Hyunmoo-5 ballistic missile capable of hitting North Korea and other conventional weapons, Yun said the day his neighbor tries to use nuclear weapons would be the end of the Kim regime as Kim would face "firm and overwhelming resistance" from the South Korean-U.S. alliance.
