New Delhi. Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief Mohan Bhagwat performed Shastra Puja at Resham Bagh ground in Nagpur on Saturday on the occasion of Vijayadashami. During this Bhagwat appealed to Hindus not to remain weak or else they will be killed by swords. Bhagwat expressed concern about what is happening to Hindus in Bangladesh.
Bangladeshi Hindus need us.
RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat said that what happened in our neighboring Bangladesh may have some immediate reasons but those who are concerned will discuss it. Due to that chaos, the tradition of persecuting Hindus was repeated there. For the first time, the Hindus there united and took to the streets to protect themselves.
We need to stay united
He further said that as long as there is this fundamentalist tendency to commit atrocities out of anger, not only Hindus but all minorities will be in danger. Bangladeshi Hindus need help from Hindus all over the world. It is the responsibility of the Indian government to help them. If we are weak, we are inviting atrocities. Wherever we are in the world, we need to be united and strong.
