The food delivery company, Zomato, celebrated its 16th anniversary by offering a Zomato Gold subscription to users who don't already have it for 30 for 6 consecutive months. The offer is valid for just 24 hours.

Zomato Gold subscription allows users to avail free delivery on orders above ₹199 if the restaurant or vendor is within a 7-km radius. Also, gold users are given discounts of up to 30 percent apart from the general offers and existing offers across the country.

To celebrate the company turning 16, it took out a full-page advertisement in an Indian daily.

The ad features Zomato's founder and top executives thanking everyone for their support as the company turns 16.

The text reads "16th janamdin par aap sabhi ko apna pyar barsane ke liye koti koti dhanyavaad,"

Paytm CEO Vijay Shekhar Sharma shared the ad, congratulating Zomato and expressing admiration for their praiseworthy advertisements.

Sharma wrote, "On the 16th birthday of Zomato, heartiest congratulations to the chief Mr Deepinder ji and all the members of his executive!"

He added, "May God grant us such praiseworthy advertisements always."

Recently, Zomato disclosed whopping profits of ₹351 crore for the financial year 2023-2024.

The food delivery startup posted a ₹971 crore loss in the previous financial year.
