- Lupin: The US FDA has issued 3 objections to Lupin's Pithampur plant in Madhya Pradesh. The company's plant was inspected from September 16 to September 27. The plant includes unit-1 API and finished product manufacturing. The company said that the inspection concluded with 3 objections at the API and finished product site. The pharmaceutical company is addressing these objections and will respond to the US FDA within the stipulated time frame.
- Adani Enterprises: Adani Group company has informed that its subsidiary's joint venture (JV) unit April Moon Retail has acquired a 74 percent stake in Cococart Ventures for Rs 200 crore. The company said in an exchange filing, "April Moon Retail Private Limited, a joint venture company of Adani Airport Holdings Limited, has entered into a Share Purchase Agreement, Joint Venture Agreement, and Share Subscription Agreement on September 27, 2024, with Cococart Ventures Private Limited and CVPL's existing shareholders Karan Ahuja and Arjun Ahuja to acquire shares in CVPL to acquire 74 percent stake in CVPL." On Friday, Adani Enterprises shares closed at Rs 3,137.65 with a gain of 0.48 percent.
- Tata Motors: Tata Motors laid the foundation stone of its new vehicle manufacturing facility in Tamil Nadu. Tata Motors Group will invest Rs 9,000 crore in this greenfield manufacturing facility. The company will manufacture next-generation vehicles of both Tata Motors and JLR in the new plant. This facility is expected to generate 5,000 new jobs. On Friday, the company's stock closed at Rs 989.90, down 0.33 percent. In the last one year, the company's stock has seen an increase of 61.20 percent.
- Dr. Reddys: Dr. Reddy's Laboratories Limited on Friday (September 27) said it has invested $620 million in its wholly-owned subsidiary Dr. Reddy's Laboratories SA, Switzerland (DRL SA). The investment is in line with the company's board-approved investment of up to 500 million pounds ($640 million) to acquire the Nicotinell brand and related assets from Helion Group.
- IDFC FIRST Bank: The bank said that its merger with IDFC Ltd has been completed. The bank has confirmed that it has received all the necessary shareholder and regulatory approvals. The merger will be effective from October 1, 2024. The exchange filing said that the board in the meeting has approved the merger of IDFC Financial Holding Company Limited (IDFC FHCL) with IDFC Limited and subsequently IDFC Limited with IDFC FIRST Bank. As part of the merger, shareholders of IDFC Limited will get 155 equity shares of IDFC First Bank for every 100 equity shares held by them in IDFC, the allotment of which will be based on the record date of October 10, 2024.
- BEL: Bharat Electronics Limited said that the government has approved the joint venture between the company and Israel Aerospace Industries Limited. This joint venture is for product support of medium-range surface-to-air missile systems used in India. The company gave this information to the stock market after the market closed. The stock closed above the level of 293 with a gain of more than one percent on Friday.
- Adani Energy: Adani Energy Solutions Limited (AESL) on Friday (September 27) said that Adani Electricity Mumbai Limited (AEML), a subsidiary of AESL, has executed a Business Transfer Agreement (BTA) with its wholly-owned subsidiary North Maharashtra Power Limited (NMPL). - Zomato: The company's co-founder and Chief People Officer Akriti Chopra has resigned with immediate effect after a 13-year-long tenure at the food delivery company.
