Today, the Sensex closed at 79,496, up 10 points or 0.1 percent, while the Nifty closed at 24,142, down 7 points or 0.3 percent. Today, the Nifty crossed the 24300 mark during the day's trading, while the Sensex was trading above 80000.

In today's trading session, Power Grid 's shares saw the most strength, which rose 4.29 percent to close at 329.80, while Infosys shares strengthened by 1.65% and settled at 1,860. After this, HCL Tech 's shares rose 1.63% and closed at 1,867. At the same time, Tech Mahindra closed at 1,704 with a rise of 1.36%, while TCS rose 1.25% and settled at 4,199.

At the same time, Asian Paints shares have suffered the most losses. In today's trading, they fell 8.18% and closed at 2,543, while JSW Steel shares slipped 1.75% and closed at 979. After this, Tata Steel shares fell 1.74% and closed at 145.01, while Bajaj Finance shares weakened 1.70% and settled at 6,779.

 

The boom in the IT and banking sector
 

Today, Nifty IT closed at 42,590 level with a gain of 1.28%. After this, Bank Nifty settled at 51,877 level with a gain of 0.61%. At the same time, Nifty Auto closed at 23,729 level with a fall of 0.32%, while Nifty Pharma closed at 22,344 level with a fall of 0.88%. Wipro makes new 52-week high
