No serious allegations were found in the investigation against Adani Group

SEBI said that 23 out of 24 investigations into the allegations leveled against the Adani Group have been completed and no serious allegations have been proved in these. After the allegations against the Adani Group last year, SEBI had started several investigations, of which only one investigation is left now. SEBI scrutinized more than 300 documents of 12 thousand pages in this case, issued more than 100 summons, and also took help from domestic and foreign agencies.

SEBI's statement on Blackstone and REIT rules

The Hindenburg report also alleged that changes in REIT (Real Estate Investment Trust) rules were made to benefit Blackstone. On this, SEBI said that changes in REIT rules were made based on people's opinions and advice. No changes in these rules were made to benefit anyone, but in the interest of investors. SEBI said that they aim to ensure the benefit of investors and create a transparent framework for them.

SEBI's advice to investors

SEBI has appealed to investors not to get caught in the confusion of the Hindenburg report and to act with patience and understanding in matters of investment. SEBI also said that it is important to read the disclaimer of the Hindenburg report as well, so that it becomes clear how reliable the information given in this report is.

Emphasizing on its transparency and investigation process, SEBI said that it will always work to protect the interests of investors. In such a situation, investors do not need to panic based on any report, rather they should take their investment decisions wisely.
