Starting Small with Big Dreams -Sushant Gaur's Journey to Eco-Friendly Success
After finishing his MBA in 2012, Sushant Gaur invested Rs 15 lakh to start Urja Packaging in Noida.
He began by making paper bags, facing challenges convincing people to switch from plastic.
By going door-to-door to pharmacies, sweet shops, and local kiranas, he managed to earn Rs 15 lakh in his first year.
Gaining Momentum
Despite initial struggles, Sushant's hard work paid off as he secured big clients like Fortis Hospital, Indian Railways, and Bikanervala.
By 2019, URJA PACKAGING PRIVATE LIMITED was making a turnover of Rs 3.5 crore. Realizing the need for a team to scale the business, he partnered with Atulya Bhatia and Ashish Agarwal, rebranding the company as Adeera Packaging.
Achieving 10X Growth Amid the Pandemic
The trio revamped their business strategies, leading Adeera Packaging to register a 10X growth, reaching Rs 23.5 crore in FY22.
They expanded their product range and capitalized on the rising demand for eco-friendly bags after the government's plastic ban.
