Reliance Industries Ltd's (RIL's) telecom arm Jio's share in India's overall data traffic increased to 60% in the financial year 2023-24 (FY24), the company said in its annual report

Jio's subscriber base stood at 48.18 Cr at the end of the fiscal year and its total data traffic stood at 148.5 Bn GB, RIL said in the report. With this, Jio claims to have become the largest connectivity and digital services provider in India.

It is pertinent to note that Jio's subscriber base increased 9% quarter-on-quarter to 48.97 Cr at the end of the June quarter of the ongoing fiscal year (Q1 FY25).
