The month of October was great for all the automobile companies in the country . Except for a few companies, almost all the companies sold a lot of vehicles in October. In the month of October, which was full of festivals, Maruti Suzuki, Toyota Kirloskar, Hyundai Motor India, and Ola Electric succeeded in luring customers through bumper offers. Maruti Suzuki India sold a total of 2,06,434 vehicles in October, which is the highest in any month so far. Let us tell you that Maruti Suzuki India sold a total of 1,99,217 vehicles in October last year.
Toyota sales rise 41 percent.
Toyota Kirloskar also took full advantage of the festive season and sold a total of 30,845 vehicles in October, which is 41 percent more than last year. The company sold a total of 21,879 vehicles in October last year. Toyota Kirloskar said in a statement that domestic sales in October stood at 28,138 units while 2707 units were exported. Company Vice President Sabri Manohar said, "This increase is due to the growing strong demand for our SUVs and MPVs."
Hyundai sales rise by 2 percent.
Hyundai Motor India's total sales in October rose 2 percent to 70,078 units as against 68,728 units in the same month last year. The company's domestic sales rose marginally to 55,568 units in October as against 55,128 units in the same month last year. The company said that its exports in October rose 6.7 percent to 14,510 units as against 13,600 units in the same month last year.
Ola sold more than 50,000 scooters.
Registration of Ola Electric scooters also reached 41,605 units in October, a massive 74 percent year-on-year. Ola Electric said in a statement that the company has sold more than 50,000 vehicles in October 2024. The registration numbers are as per the scooter figures. An Ola Electric spokesperson said, "The festive season has been really strong for us, with our entire segment, consumer demand picking up and our sales network strengthening across India."
