New Delhi. The market capitalization of seven out of the top 10 most valued companies of the country declined by a combined Rs 1,22,107.11 crore last week. Tata Consultancy Services and Reliance Industries suffered the biggest losses in this. The market capitalization of major companies declined in line with the weak trend in the stock market. Last week, the BSE Sensex fell by 307.09 points or 0.37 percent to 81,381.36. The market valuation of the country's largest information technology company Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) declined by Rs 35,638.16 crore to Rs 15,01,723.41 crore. 

The market capitalization of Reliance Industries fell by Rs 21,351.71 crore to Rs 18,55,366.53 crore. ITC's valuation fell by Rs 18,761.4 crore to Rs 6,10,933.66 crore, while Hindustan Unilever Ltd.'s market capitalization fell by Rs 16,047.71 crore to Rs 6,53,315.60 crore. The market capitalization of Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) fell by Rs 13,946.62 crore to Rs 6,00,179.03 crore and ICICI Bank's market capitalization fell by Rs 11,363.35 crore to Rs 8,61,696.24 crore. HDFC Bank's market capitalization fell by Rs 4,998.16 crore to Rs 12,59,269.19 crore. 

However, the market valuation of Bharti Airtel rose by Rs 26,330.84 crore to Rs 9,60,435.16 crore. The market cap of Infosys rose by Rs 6,913.33 crore to Rs 8,03,440.41 crore and the market capitalization of State Bank of India rose by Rs 3,034.36 crore to Rs 7,13,968.95 crore. Reliance Industries was the most valuable domestic company in terms of market capitalization. It was followed by TCS, HDFC Bank, Bharti Airtel, ICICI Bank, Infosys, State Bank of India, Hindustan Unilever, ITC and LIC respectively.
