Maharashtra Industries Minister Uday Samant, in a post on X, announced that luxury car maker Mercedes-Benz will invest Rs 3,000 crore in Maharashtra this year, which will help create employment opportunities in the state.

Samant, who was touring Germany, met with top executives of Mercedes-Benz on Thursday to discuss investment opportunities in the state.

"Had a meeting with representatives of Mercedes-Benz while on a tour in Germany today. Mercedes-Benz is set to invest 3,000 crores in Maharashtra this year. This investment will not only boost the industrial sector but also increase employment opportunities in Maharashtra," Samant wrote on X, sharing photos with the company's executives.

Samant, in a post on social media, said that this investment will increase the number of jobs. “Had a meeting with the representative of Mercedes-Benz company while on tour to Germany today. Mercedes Benz is going to invest Rs 3,000 crore in Maharashtra this year. This will increase the number of jobs in Maharashtra along with industries. There was a discussion regarding this today,” said Samant in a post in Marathi.
