New Delhi: The last week has been quite volatile for the stock market. However, on Friday, the Sensex and Nifty closed with a good gain. On Friday, Nifty closed at 24,131 with a gain of 217 points, while Sensex closed at 79,803 with a gain of 759 points. At the same time, last week, the market cap of the country's top 10 high-valuation companies increased by Rs 2,29,589.86 crore.
 

LIC made a great comeback
 

Last week, the market capital of Life Insurance Corporation of India Limited (LIC) registered an increase of Rs 60,656.72 crore, after which it reached Rs 6,23,202.02 crore. After this, the valuation of HDFC Bank increased by Rs 39,513.97 crore, which increased it to Rs 13,73,932.11 crore.

 

RIL and Airtel also gained momentum
 

After this, the valuation of Mukesh Ambani-owned company Reliance Industries Limited has increased. Last week, its value has increased by Rs 35,860.79 crore and now it has become Rs 17,48,991.54 crore, while Bharti Airtel also performed well. Its market capitalization increased by Rs 32,657.06 crore to Rs 9,26,725.90 crore.



 

These companies also saw a boom.
 

Apart from this, SBI's market cap registered a jump of Rs 20,482 crore, which increased to Rs 7,48,775.62 crore. At the same time, the market capitalization of ICICI Bank increased by Rs 15,858.02 crore to Rs 9,17,724.24 crore, while Hindustan Unilever's market cap increased by Rs 11,947.67 crore to Rs 5,86,516.72 crore. Lastly, the market cap of Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) also increased by Rs 10,058.28 crore and reached Rs 15,46,207.79 crore.
 

Infosys fell

It is known that the market cap of the leading IT sector company Infosys has declined. Infosys' valuation has fallen by Rs 18,477.5 crore to Rs 7,71,674.33 crore. Despite this, it has retained its place in the top 10.
