With the beginning of the month, inflation has hit. Oil marketing companies have increased the prices of commercial LPG gas cylinders. The companies have increased the price of 19 kg commercial LPG gas cylinders by Rs 62 from today. The retail selling price of a 19 kg commercial LPG cylinder in Delhi has become Rs 1,802 from today. The price of a 5 kg FTL cylinder has also been increased by Rs 15. However, there has been no change in the price of the 14.2 kg cylinder used for domestic purposes.
There was also an increase in October.
Oil marketing companies had increased the price of commercial LPG gas cylinders by ₹48.50 from October 1. The price of a 19 kg cylinder has gone up to Rs 1802 in Delhi. Earlier it used to be available for Rs 1740. The same cylinder will be available in Mumbai for Rs 1754. Earlier it used to cost Rs 1692.50. In Kolkata, the price has gone up to Rs 1911.50. Earlier it was available for Rs 1850.50. In Chennai, the price has increased to Rs 1964. The old rate was Rs 1903.
Airplane fuel prices also increased.
Domestic oil marketing companies (OMCs) have hiked the price of aviation turbine fuel (ATF) by Rs 2,941.5 per kilolitre from November 1. With this latest price hike, ATF prices in major cities have risen to Rs 90,538.72 per kilolitre in Delhi, Rs 93,392.79 in Kolkata, Rs 84,642.91 in Mumbai and Rs 93,957.10 in Chennai. Earlier, OMCs had reduced ATF prices by Rs 5,883 per kilolitre.
