The story behind Bindu Jeera Masala Soda!

Influenced by the success story of Dhirubhai Ambani, Shankar embarked on his entrepreneurial path as an auto-rickshaw driver under a government self-employment scheme. Born in the agrarian village of Bellare, Shankar's early life was marked by grit and determination.

A New Direction and Business Growth

By 1987, Shankar had transitioned from driving an auto-rickshaw to making his mark in the automobile industry with a tire dealership. His ability to adapt and grow across diverse business environments demonstrated his entrepreneurial versatility.

However, the defining moment came in 2002, during a visit to North India, where he was inspired to create Bindu Jeera Masala Soda-a unique beverage flavored with jeera (cumin seed).

The Rise of SG Corporates

Starting with a modest investment of Rs 35 Lakhs in 2001, Shankar's company, SG Corporates, experienced exponential growth.

By 2006, the turnover had reached Rs 6 Crores, and by 2010, it had crossed the Rs 100 crore revenue mark. This milestone was not only a personal triumph for Shankar but also a significant achievement in the Indian beverage industry.

Global Expansion and Legacy
The year 2015 marked a new chapter for Bindu Jeera, as Shankar's company ventured into international markets, exporting to the UAE, Singapore, and Malaysia.

Today Bindu Jeera Masala Soda has a valuation of Rs 800 crore.

His journey from an auto-rickshaw driver to a global business leader highlights the power of innovation and determination.
