Indian E-commerce giant Flipkart has launched its quick commerce platform, Flipkart Minutes. It is almost similar to Zepto, Swiggy Instamart, Zomato's Blinkit, and others to compete for domination in the ever-growing industry.
Flipkart Minutes wants to differentiate itself as a service, if felt below expectations, customers can cancel or refuse to collect items at the doorstep.
The service is currently live only for Bangalore regions of HSR, Bellandur and a few other areas.
Flipkart started planning for rapid delivery in March after new quick commerce entrants found success. With its e-commerce capabilities, the company is considering a different rapid delivery format.
Users are currently receiving their products within 8-16 minutes, which is in line with most competitors. Flipkart offers free deliveries for orders over Rs 99 and charges a Rs 5 platform fee. These services aim to attract and grow the customer base and are usually discontinued after widespread adoption.
