New Delhi: On the last trading day of this week, the stock market has once again returned to its bullish trend. Today both the benchmark indices closed with a gain of about 1 percent. The Sensex closed at 79,803 with a jump of 760 points or 0.96%, while the Nifty closed at 24,131 with a gain of 217 points or 0.91%. Earlier on Thursday, the market witnessed a huge fall from the upper level. On Thursday, the Sensex and Nifty closed down by about 1.5 percent. At the same time, today the shares of Adani Group and the shares of the pharma sector have played an important role in pulling the market up.

In the last trading session of the current week, Bharti Airtel's shares closed at the top of the list with a gain of 4.28 percent at the level of 1,627. After this, shares of pharma sector stock Cipla closed at the level of 1,534 with a gain of 2.76%. At the same time, Sun Pharma closed at the level of 1,781 with a jump of 2.69%, while M&M shares closed at the level of 2,966 with a gain of 2.33%. Apart from this, Adani Ports SEZ closed at the level of 1,190 with a gain of 1.93%.
These stocks fell
At the same time, the government-owned power sector company Power Grid registered the highest gain of 1.28 percent, closing at 329.40, while Shriram Finance closed 0.80% weaker at 3,020. After this, Hero MotoCorp shares closed 0.46% lower at 4,762, while Apollo Hospital closed 0.18% lower at 6,829. At the same time, Nestle India shares closed 0.08% lower at 2,235.
Pharma sector shines
Due to the rise in pharma stocks in today's trading, Nifty Pharma closed 2.35% higher at 22,240. Nifty Auto closed at 23,369 with a gain of 1.01%. Nifty IT closed 0.41% stronger at 43,146. Bank Nifty closed at 52,056 with a jump of 0.29%. Let us tell you that in today's trading, except Nifty PSU Bank and Nifty Realty Sector, all closed with gains.
