EV maker Ola Electric will be entering the two-wheeler electric bike space, which currently has only a handful of players.

In a recent post on X, CEO Bhavish Aggarwal shared a video of himself taking a test ride. "Taking a test ride," he wrote.

During a press conference hosted by the Board of Directors about the recent Ola IPO announcement in Mumbai, Aggarwal said that the first electric motorcycle will be launched within the first six months of 2025.

He added that more details on the upcoming models will be shared at an event to be held on August 15.

Aggarwal revealed that Ola Electric will use in-house developed EV batteries for the upcoming electric motorcycles.
