From Late-Night Cravings to a Rs 3.5 Cr Company
Arpit Raj, the founder and CEO of Chaai Seth Tea/ Chai Cafe Franchise, knew that "Dil ka rasta pet se."
His entrepreneurial journey began during his college days in Shillong. Studying BBA in Hospitality, he and his friends often felt hungry late at night.
This led them to start a tiffin delivery service for late-night snacks.
Bringing People Together, One Cup at a Time
As demand for their snacks grew, Arpit and his friends moved to a flat and hired a local cook.
They promised to deliver food within 30 minutes, which became their signature service.
Inspired to bring people together through food, Arpit focused on tea, a drink loved by many. They started a tea stall outside their college, which became a popular spot due to its cozy ambiance and delicious tea.
Overcoming Challenges
Regulatory issues in the Northeast forced them to close their tea stall.

Arpit then took a corporate job in Delhi but soon realized he wanted to continue with entrepreneurship. With the help of two friends, he decided to scale up Chaai Seth into a full business.
Tea: More Than Just a Beverage
In India, tea is not just a drink but an emotion. Arpit knew that tea could connect people from all regions, leading to the success of Chaai Seth.
Arpit's Chaai Seth franchise offers over 20 varieties of tea and a fast food menu! Chaai Seth was also nominated for the 500 Startups Award.
