Aerospace giant Boeing on Wednesday informed US employees affected by layoffs that they will remain on Boeing's payroll until January 17, as per regulatory rules that require employees to be informed at least 60 days before employment ends. It was already expected that Boeing would send out Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notifications (WARN) in mid-November. Another round of layoffs is expected in December.
