Ather Energy, the country's well-known auto company that makes electric scooters , has made a new record in terms of sales by taking full advantage of the festive season. Ather Energy has sold more than 20,000 electric scooters in bulk so far in October, which is the company's highest figure so far in any single month. The company said in a statement on Thursday that the recently introduced scooter Rizta has contributed significantly to this. Ather Energy said that this month Rizta had a share of about 60-70 percent in the company's total sales. 

The company sold a total of 12,828 electric scooters in September

The company said that as of October 30, Ather has retailed 20,000 scooters across India. This increase comes after Ather's September retail performance. In September, the company sold 12,828 electric scooters, resulting in its nationwide market share increasing from 7.9 percent in July to 14.3 percent in September. 

The company is going to bring an IPO of Rs 4500 crore.

The demand for electric vehicles in India is continuously increasing and in October this sector has registered a growth of 70 percent annually. Let us tell you that just last month, Ather Energy had applied to SEBI for an initial public offering (IPO) of Rs 4500 crore. Ather Energy's biggest rival company Ola Electric has also recently been listed in the stock market.

The company is planning to set up a manufacturing plant in the Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar district.

The company currently has 231 experience centers and 2500 fast-charging stations across the country. Ather has a manufacturing facility in Hosur, Tamil Nadu. Apart from this, Ather Energy is also planning to set up another manufacturing plant in the Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar district of Maharashtra.
