New Delhi: Today, Friday, November 8, the price of gold is stable while the price of silver is declining. Gold opened higher by about 10 rupees at Rs 77380 per 10 grams and silver is selling lower by 25 rupees at Rs 92370 per kilogram.
Latest status of Gold Silver on MCX
Today, the gold for 5 December futures delivery opened at Rs 77380 per 10 grams, and till 10:30 am, orders for gold worth Rs 34586 lakh have been booked. Also, the gold for 5 February futures delivery opened at Rs 78051 per 10 grams, and till the time of writing the news, 4442 lots of gold had been traded, which was worth Rs 11783 lakh.
In the multi-commodity market, the silver for 5 December opened at Rs 92224 per kg and touched a high of Rs 92370 per kg. On the other hand, the silver for 5 March opened at Rs 94502 per kg and is trading at 94658.
Gold was closed at this rate.
Earlier, on November 7, in the last trading session on MCX, gold for December 5 delivery closed at Rs 77411 per 10 grams, while gold for February 5 futures delivery closed at Rs 78041 per 10 grams.
In the last trading session on November 7, silver for December 5 futures delivery closed at Rs 92313 per kg on MCX. Apart from this, silver for March 5, 2025 futures closed at Rs 94707 per kg.
Retail price of 24-carat gold in Delhi and other cities
On November 8, 2024, the price of 22-carat gold in Delhi is Rs 72,140 per 10 grams while the price of 24-carat gold is Rs 78,700 per 10 grams. At the same time, the price of 22-carat gold in Mumbai is Rs 71,990 and the price of 24-carat gold is Rs 78,550 per 10 grams. A slight difference in the price of gold has also been observed in Ahmedabad where the price of 22-carat gold is Rs 72,040 and the price of 24-carat gold is Rs 78,600 per 10 grams.
In Lucknow and Jaipur, the price of 22-carat gold is Rs 72,150 and the price of 24-carat gold is Rs 78,710 per 10 grams. Apart from this, the price of gold in Patna is Rs 72,040 for 22 carats and Rs 78,600 per 10 grams for 24 carats.
