UP Police Recruitment Board has released the result of the UP Police Constable Recruitment Exam today. Candidates who appeared in this recruitment can check their results by visiting the official website. The recruitment board has also released the cutoff along with the result. A total of 1,74,316 candidates have passed this recruitment exam, while recruitment is to be done for a total of 60244 posts. Please note that some percentage of seats are reserved for women in this recruitment.
How many seats are reserved for women?
Out of 60244 vacant posts in UP Police Constable Recruitment, 20 percent of vacancies i.e. 12,049 posts are reserved for female candidates. Whereas, the remaining 48,195 posts are for male candidates.
What will happen next?
As stated in the notice, a total of 1,74,316 candidates have passed this recruitment exam. Now these candidates will be called for the Physical Measurement Test (PMT) and Physical Efficiency Test (PET). Remember that this stage will be merely qualifying. Only the candidate who passes this stage will be included in the merit list. After this, they will be called for document verification.
What will happen in the physical test?
Candidates who have passed the written exam of UP Police Constable Recruitment will be called for a physical test, in which male candidates will have to run 4.8 km in 25 minutes and female candidates will have to run 2.4 km in 14 minutes.
The biggest recruitment exam in the state
Let us inform you that the Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board conducted the Constable Recruitment Examination 2023 on 23,24,25, 30 and 31 August 2024. This was the biggest recruitment exam in the state. About 32 lakh candidates appeared in this exam.
