The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has won the Haryana Assembly elections. BJP has also performed well in Jammu and Kashmir. Congress has not done anything special in both Haryana and Jammu and Kashmir. After the victory of BJP in Haryana, a big statement has come from All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) President Asaduddin Owaisi.
How did Congress lose?
Owaisi said that 'secular' parties used to blame him (Owaisi) for splitting the anti-BJP votes in the elections, but how did the Congress lose in Haryana despite not fielding AIMIM candidates? Owaisi, indirectly targeting the Congress, said that to defeat the BJP, the 'old party' will have to take everyone along.
Congress people used to call us B team
Addressing a rally in Telangana's Vikarabad on Friday night, Owaisi said, "How did they (BJP) win Haryana? I was not there. Otherwise they (Congress) would have called it 'B team'. They lost there. Now you tell me, because of whom did they lose?"
To defeat Modi, we will have to take everyone along
Along with this, AIMIM chief Owaisi said, 'I would like to tell the old party (Congress) to understand my point, to defeat Modi, we will have to take everyone along. You will not be able to do anything alone.'
BJP won for the third time in Haryana
Let us tell you that the Bharatiya Janata Party has won a spectacular victory for the third consecutive time in Haryana by defeating the anti-incumbency wave. The BJP dashed the hopes of the Congress to return. In Haryana, the BJP won 48 out of 90 assembly seats, which is much more than the magic figure of 46 to form the government.
