New Delhi: Wrestlers Vinesh Phogat and Bajrang Punia have joined the Congress ahead of the Haryana assembly elections. Former BJP MP and former WFI chief Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh has stated on this.

Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh said, 'Almost two years ago, on January 18, these players started a conspiracy. The day it all started, I had said that it was a political conspiracy. Congress was involved in it, and Deepender Hooda and Bhupinder Hooda were also involved. The entire script was written, this is not a players' movement. Now after almost two years, it has become clear that Congress was involved in this drama.'

BJP was finding out the truth: Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh

Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh said that she (the female wrestler) was lying. When she was on dharna, the country felt that there could be some truth in it. That is why many people in the country and opposition parties came with her. But the BJP was not against her.

Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh said that BJP was finding out the truth. If BJP was against them, no FIR would have been filed against me. Even if an FIR was filed, no chargesheet would have been filed. Because I was not there on the day and the case they are talking about. Still, a chargesheet has been filed against me.

Recently there was a setback from the Delhi High Court

Recently, Brijbhushan Singh, accused in the case of alleged sexual harassment of female wrestlers, got a big setback from the Delhi High Court. Brijbhushan had filed a petition seeking cancellation of the FIR, chargesheet, and the order of framing of charges by the lower court against him. However, he did not get any relief from the Delhi High Court at present. The Delhi High Court asked Brijbhushan's lawyer to submit a short note in the court in the case.

During the hearing on the petition, Delhi Police questioned the maintainability of Brij Bhushan's petition. The next hearing in the case will be held on September 26 at Delhi High Court. Delhi High Court asked Brij Bhushan why did you come to the court after the charge was framed in the case. Saying this, his petition was rejected.
