The Aadhaar Card has become a very important document in today's time. It is used at every place where ID proof is required. Without an Aadhaar card, we cannot apply for any kind of government scheme. In such a situation, if any kind of wrong information is recorded on our Aadhaar card, then it can cause a big problem.

Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) provides Aadhaar holders the facility to make corrections in it. You can make some corrections yourself sitting at home, while there are some corrections for which you have to go to the Aadhaar center. Let us tell you that recently UIDAI has made a big change in its rules. UIDAI has made the process of changing the name in Aadhaar more difficult than before.

Gadget notifications will be needed.

The decision to make the process of changing or correcting the name on the Aadhaar card difficult was taken so that cases of fraud could be stopped. According to the Unique Identification Authority of India, if you want to modify the name on your Aadhaar card, then now users will need a Gazette Notification.

Whether you want to change the full name on the Aadhaar card or change a few letters of the name, meaning you want to make some minor corrections, in both conditions you will need a gadget notification. Along with the gadget notification, customers will also have to submit another ID proof. The second ID proof must have the full name of the Aadhaar holder. For this, you can use a PAN card, voter ID, driving license, service ID card, and passport.

Now all these works will be done easily.

If you want to change the name written on your Aadhaar card, then you have to keep in mind that UIDAI gives only two opportunities to change the name. While UIDAI has made the process of changing the name difficult, it has made the process easier for address updates or new enrollment. Now the passbook of any public sector bank can also be used for these works.
