UGC NET exam will be conducted on Computer Based Test CBT basis. For which the exam city slip for all the subjects was already released on the official website by the National Testing Agency NTA. Earlier, the detailed admit card was released for the examination to be held on 21, 22, 23,, and 27 August. Now the admit card for the examination to be held till 03 September has also been released. Therefore, the candidates whose examination is to be held between 29 August to 03 September can download the detailed admit card with exam city slip by visiting the official website through the application number and date of birth.

Public notice was issued by the National Testing Agency. As per the information released on 13th August 2024, information has been issued regarding the rescheduling of the UGC-NET June 2024 exam on 26th August 2024. The National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct the UGC NET June 2024 exam in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode for 83 subjects in various cities across the country from 21st August 2024-04th September 2024. On the occasion of Shri Krishna Janmashtami on 26th August 2024, the National Testing Agency (NTA) has decided to reschedule the exam for 26th August 2024 as per the details mentioned below. Now the subjects whose exams were to be held on 26th August will be held on 27th August. Soon the exam city information will be released for the exam to be held after 23rd August.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the exam city information for the UGC NET June 2024 re-examination. The admit cards of the candidates whose exams are to be held on 21st, 22nd, 23rd, and 27th August have also been issued. Such candidates can download the admit card for the exam by visiting the official website of the National Testing Agency. Admit cards for other subjects will also be issued soon. UGC NET exam will be conducted in CBT mode from 21st August to 04th September. 

When was the Exam City Slip issued?

A petition was filed in the Supreme Court to not re-conduct the UGC NET June exam, i.e. to stop the exam, which was heard yesterday on 12th August. Students cannot be put into uncertainty. The Supreme Court refused to postpone the UGC NET Exam, i.e. the exam will be re-conducted on the scheduled dates only, after which the Exam City Slip was issued for the UGC NET June exam. Candidates can download the Exam City Slip through their registration number and date of birth. 

The re-examination of UGC NET June 2024 is to be conducted by the National Testing Agency NTA in CBT mode from 21st August. Earlier, the NET June exam was conducted in two shifts on Tuesday, 18 June 2024, OMR-based. But the exam was canceled due to a paper leak. Earlier, the National Testing Agency has released the SUBJECT WISE Exam Schedule for the CBT-based exam. According to the released schedule, the examination of ENGLISH, Japanese, Persian, and Hindu Studies will be conducted in two different shifts on the 21st of August. The examination of subjects like Home Science, Social Work, Music, Education, etc. will be conducted on 22nd August. The National Eligibility Test NET June 2024 examination was conducted by the University Grants Commission UGC in two shifts on Tuesday, 18 June 2024. The subject-wise exam schedule was released by the University Grants Commission UGC. The examination of some subjects was conducted in the first shift and the examination of some subjects in the second shift. The candidates who had applied for this exam were eagerly waiting for the release of the admit card. The process of online application of the UGC NET June 2024 form was over on 15 May. Earlier the last date for application was fixed as 10 May 2024. UGC Chairman Jagdish Mandla had tweeted that the last date for online application for the National Eligibility Test NET June 2024 has been extended. Interested and eligible candidates could apply online till 15 May 2024. Earlier, the University Grants Commission had changed the exam date of UGC NET to June 2024. Earlier the exam was to be conducted on Sunday, June 16, 2024, in two shifts, but on the same day, the CSE IAS prelims exam was to be conducted by the Union Public Service Commission. Due to this the exam date was changed and the new exam date was fixed as June 18, 2024. The examination of Hindi, History, Geography, Philosophy, and Law was conducted in the first shift between 9.30 am to 12.30 pm. The examinations of various subjects including Home Science were conducted in the second shift. 

What is the complete news? 

University Grants Commission UGC had released the detailed notification of NET June 2024 on 20 May and the process of online application had started. 10 May 2024 was declared as the last date for online application but later the last date of application was extended. Earlier the UGC NET exam was to be held on Sunday, 16 June, but the Chairman of UGC told the media that a large number of candidates were sending us messages that the date of the UGC NET exam should be changed, due to which the date of UGC NET June exam has been changed. Now this exam was conducted on Tuesday on OMR based on 18 June 2024 across the country instead of 16 June. A total of 3 hours of examination will be conducted, there was no gap between the two papers of the exam. 

The detailed notification of the University Grants Commission UGC NET June was released on the official website. With the release of the detailed notification, the process of online application started. That is, online applications will start on 20 April and end on 15 May, after which the process of online application will be closed. Amendments could be made to the online application form between 16 May and 17 May. Admit card was issued in the first week of June and an online OMR-based examination was conducted on 18 June 2024.
