In Android 15, Google has added a new privacy feature Private Space, which helps users to keep their data secure.
What is Private Space?
This feature of Android 15 creates a separate virtual space in the phone, in which users can secure their sensitive data. Users can save their photos, apps, or any other files in it, which no one will be able to access in an unauthorized manner. For this, users will have to create a separate account on their phone, in which duplicate files of Google's system apps such as Google Photos, Files, Chrome, and Screenshots can be secured.
The private space feature is special because the files that users want to hide will not be visible in the normal app drawer. A small icon with a key will appear above the apps in the private space, which indicates that the file or app has been secured. Users can lock and unlock the private space in their phones. After locking, the icon of the apps in the private space stops appearing.
How to enable Private Space?
For this, users will first have to update their phones to the latest Android 15.
After this go to the phone's settings and scroll to the Security & Privacy section.
Here you will see the Private Space menu, which you have to tap.
Then tap on Set Up and follow the on-screen instructions to set up a new account.
Once the private space is created, you can delete it whenever you want.
