Gmail: Do you do a job in which you have to read many emails every day? Reading and understanding many emails in a day can be a tricky task. Because sometimes the language of some emails is very complex and some are not even important. But still, if it is your work then you have to read them. You have to read unnecessary emails even if you don't want to. But, a new feature of Gmail can help you with this and make your work easier. The feature we are talking about is called the Summarize feature.
This summarized feature of Gmail works with the help of Gemini. It can be very helpful for you. This feature came just a few days ago and it helps in extracting important information from your email. Let us tell you how to use this feature and what it can do.
How to use this feature?
1. First open Gmail.
2. After this open the email which you want to shorten.
3. If that email can be shortened then you will see the 'Summarise this email' button below the email subject.
4. Click on this button to create a small summary of the email.
5. After this a small summary of that large email will be ready.
How does this work?
Sometimes just looking at the email subject does not tell you what is written in the email. In such a case, a small summary of 30-50 words can help you understand what is being said to you in the email. But note, this feature is not perfect yet and may sometimes create a wrong summary. Therefore, use this feature only on those emails which are not very important. It is better to read the entire important email so that there is no problem.
