Julana Assembly Elections 2024: Julana Assembly seat is one of the 90 assembly seats in Haryana. It is constituency number 34 of the Haryana Legislative Assembly. This assembly seat is a general seat, not reserved for Scheduled Castes (SC) and Scheduled Tribes (ST). Juliana is located in the Jind district of Haryana and is one of the constituencies of the Sonipat parliamentary seat.

Juliana became a high-profile seat.

Let us tell you that Julana is one of those high-profile seats where Olympic wrestler Vinesh Phogat is also contesting elections this year. While the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and Jannayak Janata Party (JJP) are fighting vigorously on the Julana assembly seat, the Congress, Indian National Lok Dal (INLD) and Aam Aadmi Party are also trying to make inroads here.

Vinesh Phogat is contesting elections in Congress.

This time the contest on the Jat-dominated Juliana seat has become more important with the entry of wrestler Vinesh Phogat, who has been fielded by the Congress. Vinesh Phogat missed the Olympic medal this time. Earlier, she had also protested against the then Wrestling Federation of India (WFI) president and BJP leader Brij Bhushan Singh for sexual harassment. In such a situation, she has been given the responsibility of ending the series of Congress's defeats. The Congress party has been able to win the election on the Julana seat only four times since 1967.
