What is the last date for the late fee?
According to the official website of GATE 2025, the extended online application process with a late fee will run till October 7. Applicants can fill out GATE Form 2025 on the GOAPS portal.
What is the application fee?
The GATE 2025 fee for Women, Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), and Persons with Disabilities (PWD) during the regular registration period is Rs 900. Whereas, all other applicants including foreign nationals have to pay an application fee of Rs 1,800.

As per the latest updates on GATE 2025, the Department of Biological Sciences and Bioengineering at IIT Kanpur has decided to admit students to its MTech programs through GATE scores. Also, the Nuclear Power Corporation of India (NPCIL), one of the public sector undertakings (PSU), announced that it will use the GATE 2025 results of CE, CH, EC, EE, IN, and ME test papers for recruitment.
When will the exam be held?
GATE 2025 will be held on February 1, 2, 15, and 16 next year. The exam will be conducted in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode for a total of 30 test papers. The exam will be conducted in two shifts - the morning session from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm and the afternoon session from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm. A candidate will be allowed to take a maximum of two test papers from the available set of two-paper combinations. GATE 2025 admit card will be released on January 2.
