Her father Partha Sarathi Roy Chaudhary is retired from Small Arms Factory located on Kalpi Road and her mother Parna Roy Chaudhary is a housewife. Swati has studied till graduation from Kanpur itself. Despite being a science stream student, Swati chose a career in the field of art. She has done diploma and certificate courses in art from Singapore and London. Today her paintings and sketches are displayed in famous art galleries.
Recently Swati Ghosh was awarded the prestigious Diplome de Medal de Etan by the Arts-Sciences-Lettres Society at a grand ceremony held in Paris, France. This award is given by this prestigious academic society founded by Rene Flamant in 1915. This award is given to individuals who have made significant contributions in the field of arts, literature, and science.
The only Indian to receive the honor
Artist Swati Ghosh is the only Indian to receive this prestigious honor at the ceremony. She is known for bringing Indian artistic heritage to the global stage by transcending the boundaries of modern painting. Dozens of awards received for work
In September 2022, Swati was awarded the "Art and Cavallo Trophy" award as an Indian artist at the San Siro Hippodrome Race Course exhibition. Apart from this, she has received dozens of honors. Her paintings have been displayed in galleries and museums in many countries including India, Norway, South Korea, Italy, Switzerland, Vatican Chancellery Palace, France, New York, Turkey, and Maldives.
