Elections will be held in two phases on 13 and 20 November for 81 assembly seats in Jharkhand. Given this, BJP has released the first list of names of 66 candidates. This list also includes the name of Sita Soren, sister-in-law of Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren, who joined the BJP before the Lok Sabha elections in 2024. Sita Soren has been fielded by the BJP from the Jamtara assembly seat. Sita Soren's reaction has come after getting the ticket from BJP.

On getting the ticket from the Jamtara assembly seat, BJP leader Sita Soren said, “The party has shown faith in me and has given me the ticket from the Jamtara seat. I will work hard and win the seat with an absolute majority. The people of Jharkhand will elect a BJP government. The current government has only increased corruption and crime in the state. Your government will come and bring change in the state.”

She had joined the BJP before the Lok Sabha elections

.Let us tell you that before the Lok Sabha elections 2024, Sita Soren had joined the BJP. In the Lok Sabha elections, the BJP had fielded her from Dumka. However, she failed to make a dent in the stronghold of her father-in-law Shibu Soren. She lost the Dumka Lok Sabha seat to Nalin Soren of JMM. Now once again BJP has expressed confidence in her in the assembly elections.

At the same time, former Jharkhand Chief Minister Champai Soren, who joined BJP from JMM, has got a ticket from Saraikela. BJP state president Babulal Marandi will contest from Dhanwar. Lobin Hembram has got a ticket from Borio. At the same time, Geeta Balmuchu from Chaibasa, Geeta Koda from Jagannathpur , and Meera Munda from Potka have got tickets.
