The second phase of voting for the assembly elections in Jammu and Kashmir is being held today. In the second phase, votes are being cast on 26 seats, in which 239 candidates are contesting. Voting continues on 26 seats
Let us tell you that more than 13,000 polling staff have taken charge at 3,502 polling stations set up in 26 assembly constituencies of Jammu and Kashmir. Voting is being held today on 25 September on 15 seats in three districts of Kashmir - Ganderbal, Srinagar, and Budgam and 11 seats in three districts of Jammu - Rajouri, Reasi, and Poonch. At the same time, voting is to be held on October 1 in the third and last phase. The results will be declared on October 8. Assembly elections are being held for the first time in Jammu and Kashmir after the abolition of Article 370 in August 2019.
