Eligibility Criteria 

Age Limit 

Candidates applying for the post must be 21 years of age as of January 1, 2024, and not more than 38 years of age, i.e., they must not have been born before January 2, 1986, and after January 1, 2003.

Educational Qualification

The candidate must have a graduation degree in Agriculture or Horticulture from any University or Institution recognized by any State Government or Government of India. No other equivalent qualification other than a degree in Agriculture or Horticulture will be accepted.

What is the selection process?

Candidates can understand the selection process of this recruitment through the points given below. 

• The selection of candidates for recruitment to the post of Assistant Agriculture Officer will be done through a competitive examination consisting of written tests and interviews.
• The written exam will consist of 2 papers carrying a total of 200 marks. Each paper will have 100 questions carrying 1 mark each. The duration of the exam will be 2 hours. There will be negative markings for wrong answers and 0.25 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer.
• The interview will carry 25 marks.
