The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has announced the exam dates (tentative) for the recruitment of Junior Engineer (JE) and related posts. An official notice has been issued in this regard. Candidates appearing for the exam can check it by visiting the official website. This recruitment drive aims to fill a total of 7,934 vacancies for Junior Engineer (JE), Depot Material Superintendent, and Chemical & Metallurgical Assistant posts. 

According to the schedule released, the RRB JE CBT-1 exam will be conducted from 6 December to 13 December 2024. It is worth noting that this exam is being conducted for the recruitment of Junior Engineers, Depot Material SuperintendentsAssistants (DMS), Chemical and Metallurgical Assistant (CMA), Chemical Supervisors (Research), and Metallurgical Supervisors (Research).

Schedule of other exams 

RRB has also released tentative schedules for other important examinations. According to this, the Computer Based Test (CBT) for Assistant Loco Pilot (ALP) under CEN-01/2024 will be held from 25 to 29 November 2024, while the exam for Sub-Inspector (SI) in Railway Protection Force (RPF) under CEN-01/2024 will be held from 2 to 5 December 2024. Additionally, the Technician exam under CEN-02/2024 will be held from 16 to 26 December 2024.

When will the admit card be issued?

Candidates can check the exam city and date through the official RRB website 10 days before the exam. SC/ST category candidates will also be able to download travel authority. E-call letters will be available for download four days before the respective exam dates. Importantly, Aadhaar-linked biometric authentication will be required at the exam center.
